Nicole Della Costa (b. Rio de Janeiro, BR) lives and works between New York and London.

Working across film, poetry, and publishing, she is a director whose short films have been featured by NOWNESS and whose commercial work spans campaigns for Rimowa, Belmond, Salie 66, Lucila Safdie and Tod’s group. She has developed visual work and ongoing collaborations with artists, including Zeca Veloso, Léo Walk, and Gabriela Richardson.

She is the author of As Serious as a Hiccup published by Pois É and the editor of The Lemon Cookbook, and has self-published two books of poetry, En+Theos and Ask Me About the Secret Poetry Club. Selected editorial contributions include International Edition (edited by Elise by Olsen), The Alphabet Poetry Anthology (Reference Point), Introducing The Beggar (edited by Sonny Hall and Ryan Kevin Doyle), Worms Magazine (Edited by Clem Macleod), Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio, and A Part Magazine.

She is the founder of The Poetry Bank, a non-profit poetry sharing platform geared at amplifying and circulating poetry that mimics an offline exchange of poems. Instead of being categorized by authors, it is categorized by people from a diversity of backgrounds.
